Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! All our candles are handmade using natural soy wax, premium essential oils, and safe, non-toxic dyes. We never use paraffin, phthalates, or any harmful chemicals—only clean, conscious ingredients that are kind to you and the planet.

Soy wax is plant-based, biodegradable, and burns cleaner than paraffin wax (which is petroleum-derived). It produces less soot and lasts longer, giving you a safer and more eco-friendly burn.

That’s completely normal! Frosting is a natural feature of soy wax and a sign that your candle is free from synthetic additives. Since all our candles are handmade, each one may have tiny variations—this is part of their charm and individuality.

We recommend gently removing dried botanicals (like rosebuds or lavender) if they are near the wick as it is a safe and sensible choice for a cleaner, longer-lasting candle experience. While they’re safe in small amounts, dried elements are flammable and may affect how evenly your candle burns.

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn, let it melt fully across the top on the first use, and don’t burn for more than 4 hours at a time. This helps prevent tunneling and keeps your candle looking and performing its best.

In warmer climates like the UAE, soy wax may "sweat" (release natural oils) or soften slightly. This is harmless and doesn’t affect performance. Simply store your candle in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Scent throw is how well a candle spreads its fragrance—both cold (when unlit) and hot (when burning). Our candles are cured before shipping to enhance scent throw, but letting them rest a few extra days before use can make it even better!
